Pasadena's home for flag football

Competitive play. Positive coaching. A nonprofit league built for kids.

WINTER 2027

Ready to Play?

WHO CAN PLAY?

Boys and girls of all experience levels, with divisions organized by age. Whether they're brand new to flag or ready to compete, there's a place to play.

WHEN & WHERE?

Friday Night Lights at Pasadena High School! Our inaugural season runs from February 5 to March 19, 2027.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Competitive play. Positive coaching. Player development, teamwork and fun — in a league built for kids.

Built for the Community

Pasadena Flag Football was built around a simple idea: every kid deserves a place to compete, develop their skills, and love the game.

As a program of Brick by Brick Athletics, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we're building something bigger than football. Our mission is to make youth sports more accessible, create opportunities for kids of all backgrounds, and bring our community together.

Led by Commissioner Joe "The Future" Hanks, a former professional athlete and longtime Pasadena community leader, we're creating a league where positive coaching and competitive play go hand in hand — one that welcomes new players, challenges experienced athletes, and puts kids and families first.

COMMUNITY FIRST

A local league built for Pasadena-area kids, families and the community we call home.

MORE THAN A LEAGUE

We're bringing a fresh approach to youth flag football, with more ways to compete, more reasons to celebrate, and an experience built for the whole family.

EVERY PLAY COUNTS

Player stats that track performance, celebrate progress, and bring a whole new level of excitement to the season.

RECOGNITION EARNED

Players of the Week, season awards, and MVP honors that combine performance with votes from coaches and fellow players.

REAL COMPETITION. REAL FUN.

Organized divisions, exciting matchups and opportunities for players at every level to challenge themselves and grow.

GOOD TIMES BEYOND THE GAME.

Because the best parts of youth sports aren't always on the field. We're creating a place where families connect, friendships grow, and game days become something everyone looks forward to.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS

be a part of the game

Every kid deserves a chance to play. At Pasadena Flag Football, we're committed to making sure financial circumstances never keep a child off the field.

We're partnering with local businesses and community supporters to help make that possible, while building a league that brings Pasadena families together.
